"Chers abonnés de SKE, je travaille avec un groupe de nouveaux et jeunes musiciens depuis un certain temps déjà. Nous avons enregistré un album dont le nom est Zio Crocifisso avec l’aide d'amis et de musiciens incroyables : Thea Ellingsen Grant au chant, Simen Ådnøy Ellingsen aux instruments à vents, Jacopo Costa au vibraphone et ma fille Margherita au chant. Le style est assez difficile à cerner, car nous avons tous des goûts musicaux assez différents, et bien que nous ayons des goûts communs, nous nous sommes retrouvés à fusionner nos visions de manière créative, plutôt que de choisir un terrain d’entente dans lequel travailler. Cela dit, tous ces genres ont trouvé leur place dans ce projet : avant prog, math rock, expérimental, prog rock, brutal prog, post rock. Les idées pour l’album viennent du livre écrit en par Verga, I malavoglia. Livre étonnant. L’album est maintenant disponible en précommande numérique, et sortira en version numérique ce samedi 6 avril, lorsque nous jouerons en direct au Circolo Agorà près de Milano.
En outre, nous sommes actuellement à la recherche d’un label intéressé pour la sortie physique, donc si vous avez des suggestions ou êtes intéressé, s’il vous plaît nous envoyer un message".

"Dear SKE followers, I've been working with a group of new and young musicians from quite some time now. We recorded an album under the name of ZIO CROCIFISSO with the help of our friends and amazing musicians: Thea Ellingsen Grant on vocals, Simen Ådnøy Ellingsen on winds, Jacopo Costa on vibraphone and my daughter Margherita on vocals. The style is quite difficult to pinpoint, as we all have rather different tastes in music, and albeit we do have common likes, we found ourselves merging our visions in a creative way, rather than choosing a common ground to work into. That being said, all these genres did find place in this project: avant prog, math rock, experimental, prog rock, brutal prog, post rock. The ideas for the album are coming from 1881's Verga's "I malavoglia" book. Amazing book. Album is now available in digital preorder, and will be digitally released this saturday 6th of April, when we will play live at Circolo Agorà venue near M ilano.
Also, we are currently looking for an interested label for physical release, so if you have suggestions or are interested, please drop us a line".
